Video Development

I have hands-on experience crafting video content using various tools including Canva, Vyond, Camtasia, Powtoon, Powerpoint, Google Slides, and Storyline 360. My video development process is agile and dynamic. My journey begins by crafting a narrated script within a Google Document. This script outlines the visuals and on-screen text placements. Once the script takes shape, I actively seek input from Subject Matter Experts and colleagues to refine it. With feedback in mind, I transition to the design phase, selecting the most suitable design tool to enhance the content. This is followed by creating a mock-up of the script, which I share with stakeholders for their insights, leading to necessary adjustments. Progressing into the development phase, I make the final video product, followed by feedback rounds to ensure its quality. Feel free to explore some samples of my work below!

Assessing Students

I utilized Canva to craft this video as part of an internal course I designed – 'Special Populations and Assessments: Planning for Teachers.' With a focus on enriching the course experience, I incorporated a flight metaphor and thematic narration to guide student assessment strategies.

Budget Start and End Date

I developed this animated explainer as part of an internal onboarding training program tailored for Budget Proposal Specialists, utilizing Vyyond. In this capacity, I authored the script and meticulously optimized the video content to mitigate cognitive load for optimal comprehension.

SEL Urges

I created this video for the TRAILS training course, an SEL curriculum employed across Michigan Public Schools from K-12. Leveraging Powtoon, I crafted the video, and the voice-over artist was carefully chosen via Voice Jungle.
