Growth versus fixed mindset activity: learners sort statements from sticky notes into two mindset categories.
Witsby · Growth vs. Fixed Mindset. Contractor-developed Storyline interaction. My role: instructional direction, project management, and quality review.

01 / The problem

Too much reading.
Too little application.

Learners wanted more interaction. In 2024, I introduced platform-wide end-of-course surveys and monthly feedback reviews to guide redesign priorities.

02 / My decisions

Lead the team.
Protect the learning goal.

PEOPLE

Build the right team.

I hired four contractors, negotiated rates, and managed tasks and schedules in Asana.

PROCESS

Approve before building.

I required storyboard approval to catch unsupported content early. I observed fewer revisions and less content drift.

QUALITY

Review before acceptance.

I checked learning alignment, adult learning principles, accessibility, and functionality.

  1. 01Review feedback
  2. 02Approve storyboard
  3. 03Direct development
  4. 04Check & accept

03 / The evidence

Delivery. Better oversight.
Career progression.

The team delivered on schedule. Leadership cited these contributions in my promotion to Lead Instructional Designer.

Explore my scope and evidence

I selected redesign priorities using learner feedback and instructional design judgment, made improvement decisions, and reported them to executive leadership.

I used written feedback and coaching to address content drift. Storyboard approval became a required step before development. I approved concepts, reviewed work, accepted final deliverables, and approved invoices; overall budget ownership remained elsewhere.

Delivery figures and fewer revisions reflect my reported experience. Comparable baseline data was unavailable; learning gains and changes in satisfaction, completion, renewals, and revenue were not established.
